10 Things That Made Me Happy This Week

-- 9th September 2013 - 15th September 2013 --

1,2,3,5,9, 10 - My Own Photos.  I do not own any of the following photos.  4 - Prezzo Sign. 6 - A still from the 'Wrecking Ball' video. 7 - via. pinterest, Source Unknown. 8 - via fanpop.com

1. Cuddles with my little Cat, Mickey. He is the softest and cutest little putz, with the nicest tum you'll ever see!

2.
Having a big meal and drinks with my friends before some of us go to uni. Emotional goodbyes are hard, but it was such a great nigh.

3.
Dairy Milk Giant Chocolate Buttons. They will be the death of me. I can not resist them!

4.
Going out for lunch and spending the day with my granny and grandpa. So lovely to catch up with
them.

5.
My little brothers face when I unexpectedly picked him up from school on Monday.

6.
Wrecking Ball - Miley Cyrus. So, the video is a little extreme when it comes to the 'being naked and swinging on a wrecking ball' bit, but she does look amazing in the close up shots of her face. It's such a great song and I can't stop listening to it.

7.
Learning my own songs on the piano!

8.
Watching 'Spiceworld'. Who doesn't love the Spice Girls?! Thier music will forever put me in the best best best mood! Who else had it on VHS and got the limited edition version in the metal tin?!

9.
Bourjois Colour Boost Lip Crayon in 'Peach On The Beach'. I can see myself buying these in every available shade!

10.
My surprise present from my best friend, Charlie. A One Direction photo frame, Cupcakes for my family, a wooden heart shaped wall hanging that says 'Seasons come and go but friendships last forever.' and a lovely letter which brought a tear to my eye! She's the cutest and I absolutely love her!

The next time I post a '10 Things That Made Me Happy This Week' post... I will be sitting in my new bedroom in Brighton! eeeek!

Gossip Girl! Spoiler Alert!

'GG' WARNING. If you watch Gossip Girl and you are behind, like I was, and do not yet know the truth about Gossip Girl's identity and you don't wish to find out... STOP READING! I say this due to the fact I spent months and months avoiding seeing the ending on social networking sites and in magazines! Due to the generosity of my lovely boyfriend, Ben, I now own the final series of Gossip Girl and have seen the final episode!

Credit: Entertainment Weekly

Who would of ever thought Dan was Gossip Girl?! What an absolute shock.. but I was so happy that they didn't all hate him for it! I could not be happier with how it ended! I genuinely squealed... multiple times! Right from Series 1, I completely loved Dan and Serena's relationship and I was gutted when they broke up because they're parents were together. It was the happiest of endings when everyone had come together for thier wedding and Serena walked down the stairs in the most beautiful dress with an incredibly hot Dan Humphrey standing at the bottom, looking up at her.

Of course, the ultimate power couple, Chuck and Blair, ended up together, and with a gorgeous mini-Chuck too! I think everyone always knew that was going to happen, but it was question of when it would happen for good! Blair also had an incredibly beautiful wedding dress! Jenny & Eric were back and it was like happy families all over again! I will forever be obsessed with the fashion, friendships and relationships in Gossip Girl, it was like a perfect life on the Upper East Side, but with constant scandal which made it even more exciting.

Am I the only person who gets a little emotional over a one of thier favourite programs coming to an end? I've been watching Gossip Girl, admiring, all the cast members for 6 years! Although I have trusty DVD's to watch re-runs whenever I want too! It'll be the same with 90210 soon, when that finishes in the UK. I still can't bring myself to watch the last episode of Friends again, despite it finishing 9 years ago! I guess it's knowing that it's been the biggest thing in the casts life for the past 6 years, make me emotional. I can't imagine how it must feel for it too all be over! I get emotional when a performance that I've been in for three nights comes to an end... let alone 6 years!

“[Gossip Girl] was just such a love affair with the city and everything it had to offer, from the fashion, to the food, to the music.” – Blake Lively (Serena van der Woodsen)

Blake Lively will still 100% remain a huge inspiration of mine: In Life, Beauty, Fashion and Hair!

Right.. That's nearly got all of my excitement and emotion out of me! And right now, the only thing that seems appropriate is...

xoxo

Mini Jewellery/Beauty Haul!

Hello there!
I went shopping with my Mumma the other day and picked up a couple things that made me so happy I felt it was an absolute necessity to blog about them!

First of all, there was a big sale on the jewellery in Primark (I'm assuming they were getting rid of things to make room for the A/W jewellery!) I got the these 4 items for £4!

Cross outline earrings - 50p!

Blue Gem Ring - £1!

Turquoise Stud Peace Ring - 50p!

Almond Shaped Ring - £2!

I dream to, one day, have a mansion... with a walk in wardrobe... (I did say dream!) in which there is a  draw that is full of row after row of amazing rings. Different shapes, sizes, colours. Like when you're at a market where there's so many rings on the jewellery stands and no two are the same!

The next two items I have to thank the lovely Zoella and Tanya Burr for! After seeing thier vlogs mentioning these two products I decided I had to try them out.

Bourjois Colour Boost Lip Crayon in 'Peach on The Beach' - £8

I AM IN LOVE! I will definitely be purchasing these in the other shades available! This bright peach shade is 'Peach on the Beach' (such a great name!). I wouldn't say it lasts for 10 hours, especially not if you're eating or drinking, but that doesn't bother me as I find that with most lipsticks/lip crayons anyway! These are super moisturising, highly pigmented and SPF 15 is a great addition. I would definitely recommend these to anyone, especially if you can get it for free with your boots points like I did!

Rimmel Wake Me Up Concealer in 'Soft Beige' - £5

Annoyingly, I have dark circles under my eyes, which, I know are probably never as obvious or bad as I think, but I will forever see them as the bane of my life! I'm always on the hunt for a good concealer to cover them, and any other blemishes, up. This blends nicely and does the job! I'm also considering purchasing the Wake Me Up Foundation too!

So, That was my mini haul! Hope you enjoyed it and let me know if you also use the products or if you have any to recommend!

10 Things That Made Happy This Week

-- 21st August 2013 - 1st September 2013 --

A week and half, I know, but I started on a Wednesday. I will continue as Monday to Sunday after this! This post was inspired by Cider With Rosie. Her blog is beautiful and I can't stop myself once I start reading, Go and have a look for yourself!

1, 2, 5, 8, 9, 10 - My own photos. 3, 4 - from Tumblr, source unknown. Please let me know if you know. 6 - cardigansandcookies.tumblr.com. 7 - Ellie Goulding 'Burn' Artwork.

1. Coming home from an incredible month long road-trip around America. It was an unforgettable holiday with my family but I was so happy to get home to see my Mumma and big brother again!

2. After 34 days apart, I have finally been reunited with my boyfriend. I've never been so happy to see him!

3. Having to start thinking about autumn/winter clothing. I can't get enough of knitted jumpers, chunky scarves and warm hats so I can't wait to get layering again!

4. I've started buying things and making lists for things I need in my new bedroom in my student house! Now September is here, moving day is getting closer and closer... eek!

5. Having happy, healthy, holiday skin! There's nothing better than having a bit of colour on your face and therefore having to wear less makeup!

6. English Breakfast Tea. I have ALWAYS been a tea girl, but I can't stress how much I appreciate English tea after being in America. Ice Tea in the USA? Amazing. Hot Tea in the USA? Not so much.

7. Burn - Ellie Goulding. It's on repeat, such a great song.

8. Costa's signature smoked ham and free range egg farmhouse sandwich... mmm!

9. My new 'Gold threaded, Chunky Knitted, Zip Back Jumper' From Boohoo.
Always exciting to start the Autumn/Winter wardrobe.

10. Seeing 'This Is Us' One Direction's film... in 3D (just picture it... Harry Styles in 3D... yes it is THAT good!) in Leicester Square with two of my best friends after a great day in London. Also, the fact that I am still listening to 'Best Song Ever' at least five times a day & I still think it is, indeed, the best song ever and shall remain so for a long time.

This weekend I also saw Lucy Blackwell, Live, at Sun Scream Festival at Thorpe park. Nothing better than seeing one of your best friends doing something they absolutely love! A great day with lovely people and lots of ride inflicted eye watering! This day will also be the feature of my first ever vlog, so keep your eyes peeled for that! Check out her Lady In Waiting EP here! What did you get up too this weekend?
